UWS has 4 locations throughout the west of Scotland
Paisley Campus – Is located in the centre of Scotland’s biggest town. On this campus UWS has recently invested in a new student residence, accommodation upgrading, employment centre and a computing laboratory.
Ayr Campus – our new GBP 80 million state of the art campus sits by the River Ayr and is only a 10 minute walk from the seaside town of Ayr.
Hamilton Campus – 20 minutes from Glasgow, our Hamilton Campus is located in the centre of Hamilton – close to two train stations.
Dumfries Campus – Our Dumfries Campus is located within a historic and award-winning 85-acre parkland estate just two miles from the centre of Dumfries.
International Scholarship - All international students receive a GBP 1,500 scholarship each year of study which is automatically discounted from their tuition fees.
International Accommodation Bursary - All international students staying in UWS accommodation receive a GBP 1,000 bursary each year towards their accommodation costs.
Early Payment Incentive - All international student receive a 10% discount on tuition fees and 5% discount on accommodation fees that are paid in full in advance
International Undergraduate Scholarship – 25% discount on first year fees
International Research Excellence Scholarship – GBP 3,500 scholarship for students studying a Higher Degree at UWS
Commonwealth Shared Scholarship – Tuition fees, travel and living expenses. Preference is given to students studying for postgraduate studies in Biotechnology, Waste and Clean Technologies or Quality Management.
Scotland’s Saltire Scholarship - The scholarship amount is for GBP 2,000 and can be awarded for one year of study on an undergraduate or postgraduate programme. The scholarship opportunity is open to Canadian, Chinese, Indian and US nationals
UWS has 2 intakes per year – September and February
For Undergraduate applications going through UCAS they should apply before June 30th 2013.
