    Eligibility Criterion and GMAT requirements applicable to various countries

    • The first eligibility criterion for GMAT is a good score. The score can range anywhere from 200 to 800. The average candidate is able to secure anywhere from 500- 540. More than half of the candidates secure about 600 to 800. This is excellent news for all aspiring MBA candidates. In case you are not happy with your scores then yo have the option to take the test again to better them this time.
    • Work experience – This is one of the prerequisites of the MBA programme. Even though this is not mandatory, yet this is one of the preferred qualifications that are needed for any good MBA programme. Work expertise ranging from two years to three years if preferred.
    • Some top ranking B schools do not consider the essentiality of GMAT in their application criteria but these colleges may subject the candidate to another appropriate MBA entrance tests to test their overall skills and management proficiency and fluency in English.
    • Age – the candidate has to be 18 years of age. If you are between 13-17 years of age then it is imperative to get a parental guidance or consent. some other points that as a student you should make a note of are - the exam shouldn’t be taken more than five times during a 12 month period , a waiting period of 31 days is essential in between exams , on achievement of a perfect score of 800 there is a waiting period of five years, all the registration and testing rules must be strictly adhered to .

    A student has various factors that need to be weighed in before selecting the right university and the correct college. These are budgetary constraints, VISA requirements and country specific rules and regulations, accommodation, food and lifestyle habits. Even though a developed nation is expensive, yet the programmes definitely carry an edge over others. Some benefits of living abroad and studying are the recreational weekend getaways that you can treat yourself to after all the hard work that you have put to reach where you are.
