What to Look Forward in the Global Education Interact 2019
    Tuesday, January 29, 2019

Having successfully organised GEI- the biggest global education fair in India for a decade, the Chopras is due to organise its Global Education Interact from 31st January to 28th February. Since its inception in 2008, it has helped thousands of student study abroad.

The GEI is not just a basic education fair. In GEI, students and parents benefit from the opportunity to meet and interact with top universities from across the globe. Some of the best offerings of GEI 2019 include:

    Top Universities; Top Study Destinations

There is a stark difference in attending a single-country education fair and a global education fair. GEI falls under the later, a pioneer in the country, and thus is popular for the quality of choices it offers. For the GEI 2019, over 75 globally ranked universities from 9 countries are set to participate, i.e. the UK, the US, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Dubai, Ireland, New Zealand and Singapore.

Among the top participating universities are Monash University, Deakin University, University of Birmingham, University of New South Wales, University Canada West, Webster University, National University of Ireland Galway, SRH Hochschule Berlin and more!

Detailed Discussion with University and Counsellors

One of the best offerings of GEI is that students and parents get the opportunity to have a detailed discussion about suitability of course, country, university and also assess the best options based on merits and other fields. By having a detailed discussion with the concerned student, the country experts/counsellor/university delegates are able to give the right guidance and ensure that the student begin the application process in the institutions of their choice.

During the discussion, universities will assess the student profile and determine if he/she is eligible for scholarship opportunities, fee waivers etc. t

Application and Assessment for 2019 Intake

When student and parent meet with the counsellors and university delegates, upon eligibility, the application process for 2019 intake will be initiated. Attending students who expresses interest in the upcoming (2019) intake are given priority to ensure that the application is processed in time. However, in some circumstances, the university delegates may advise the student to apply for the following year’s intake after assessment of the student profile.

To initiate the application process, students are advised to bring 4 sets of documents, i.e.

    • 10th Std Mark Sheet
    • 12th Std Mark Sheet
    • Degree Mark Sheet
    • 2 Reference/Recommendation Letters
    • Statement of Purpose
    • Copy of Passport
    • Passport size Photographs

Detailed information on Visa, Education Loan and More!

In most cases, students and parents tend to make avoidable errors in visa application which later on leads to delay in issue or denial of the visa. GEI is therefore organised to prevent such error so that student and parent will be given the right guidance when it comes to visa applications. Students wanting to study abroad yet held back by financial constraint should take the opportunity to explore the options for availability of education loan and other financial aid during the GEI.

From planning to actioning on the application process, choosing university to country, GEI offers immense choice. Do not miss to register for this interesting event for free! To register, click here.
