CIT has been the largest technical and vocational education provider in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) region for 90 years. The institute employs a staff of more than 1000 and provides education to over 25,000 students from 92 countries.

CIT offers international students the choice of over 100 courses ranging from certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas and Bachelor degrees. With a blend of practical experience and essential theory, our learning environment gives graduates a combination of invaluable industry skill and enterprise connections.

CIT has partnered with several Australian universities to give students the opportunity to continue their studies at a higher level upon the successful completion of studies with the Institute.

2. Location and facilities

For students, Canberra ranks 17th in the QS World University Rankings for best student cities.

CIT Reid is situated in the city, close to stylish cafes, restaurants and bars. The campus has a student-run restaurant and cafe, hairdressing and beauty salon and travel agency. CIT Bruce is set in a natural bushland environment surrounded by native Australian wildlife. The campus is 4 kilometres from the Belconnen town centre and has student accommodation, a student-run massage clinic, child care centre and fitness centre. Both campuses have libraries, food cafeterias, cafes, bookshop services, student support services and prayer rooms.
